BWI airport is located 10 miles south of downtown Baltimore and 30 miles northeast of Washington D.C. and serves the Baltimore—Washington Metropolitan Area.
Taxis, shuttles, and rental cars are available outside the airport along with a Light Rail that connects the airport and Amtrak station with downtown Baltimore.
The airport has one terminal, which consists of five concourses, four domestic and one international/swing.
